The Beach

This swim got its name from the fact that the original owners of the lake used to bring their children down to swim in the lake directly opposite the actual swim.

This swim controls the water on the other side of the bridge and again it is a great swim for ambushing the carp as they swim from one half of the lake to the other. From this swim you are fishing into a tree lined bay with a myriad of options to cast to.

An area that often gets overlooked at in this swim is the water directly in front of you. As the carp swim under the bridge some seem to turn right and follow the far margin, but some just keep swimming straight past in front of you. If you see any fizzing close in it is well worth dropping a bait in on that line to try and intercept them.
