The Shallows

The Shallows backs onto Coypu on the Old Lake which makes it another very sociable swim. It got its name because of the shallow area to the right hand side of the swim, Just up from this shallow area the water drops of into deeper water and tree lined margins and a rod cast along this margin produces lots of carp especially to those anglers who can get a rig in really tight to the trees.

The open water straight out and to the left of the swim needs to be searched carefully with a marker rod to locate the harder spots and these will produce carp if you bait them accurately and consistently.
