The Middles

As the name suggests this swim gives you very good access to the middle of the lake, but you do have the option of casting a rod down the left-hand margin to some overhanging marginal trees.

It is very easy in this swim to cast past the fish as there are some interesting features on the bottom not far out and the carp regularly follow these features and can be ambushed as they swim by in front of you.

The Middles is often overlooked by anglers because of its lack of marginal areas to fish to but with a bit of time spent looking for the open water features in front of this swim it often produces outstanding results. Overlook it at your peril.
