Check list



To ensure that your trip is as enjoyable and hassle-free as possible, please could you and all your party members go through this checklist at least a month prior to your trip to The Les Quis Complex and immediately before you depart.

A MONTH BEFORE YOU DEPART:
1 Have you completed and returned the “Group identification sheet”?
2 Have you paid in full?
3 If you’re ordering your bait from Fish-in-France (invariably the most effective bait), have you done it yet?
4 Have you familiarised yourself and all the members of your party with The Les Quis rules and important information sheet?
5 Have you arranged your car parking?
6 Have you and all your party members all got valid passports?
7 Do you want to take a course of Vitamin B as a precaution against mosquito bites?
8 We highly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel/medical insurance for your trip.
The absolute minimum requirement is an EHIC Medical Insurance card (available free from the Post Office – you’ll need your N.I. number to obtain one)? www.ehic.org.uk/Internet/home.do

BEFORE LEAVING HOME:
1 Have you got your valid passport?
2 Have you obtained medical/travel insurance? Remember to bring relevant documentation.
3 Have you got your E.H.I.C. Medical Insurance card ?
4 Have you familiarised yourself and all the members of your party with The Les Quis rules and important information sheet?
5 Have you rationalised your personal luggage to:
  • 1 Rucksack
  • 1 Rod Bag
  • 1 Bedchair (please, no bedchair bags)
  • 1 Bivvy
  • 1 Sleeping Bag?
  • Remember: No social chairs allowed
6 Have you taken all forms of particle baits out of your rucksack?
7 Is your reel line at least 15lb breaking strain Mono?
8 Are your hooklinks no more than 15lb breaking Strain?
9 Are your rigs safe and barbless?
10 Have you brought only proprietary barbless hooks? (barb crushing is not acceptable)
11 Have you cut off any leaders and leadcore and left them at home?
12 We operate a no-sacking policy, so have you left your sacks at home?
13 Have you brought netting for your hookbaits?
14 Have you brought a nut drill? We don’t want to take you to hospital with a boilie needle in your finger !
15 Have you brought enough sterling to cover your food and drinks costs?

If you choose to bring your own boilies, please ensure they are packed in breathable bags/pillowcases and not buckets.
