Login Register Posted: 16 October 2011 07:36 Hi Bernie. Sorry it's a bit late.... What a great week. Everybody caught fish, the food was brill and so was the company, thanks to you Martin & Tim. If any of you carp lads out there have pbs of 40lb plus, you should go to LE QUIS. Nobody has blanked on this complex for 7 years!! Dads and lads or just on your own, just go. This fishing was a challenge at times and as the mail out said the rain at the begining didnt help. Drew 13 out of 15 . No the best of starts, but some how still managed to get jurassic. Had a great bunch of lads on trip and hope to catch up again some time. Ended week with 13 fish and broke common pb 3 times ending with a 38lb and new pb mirror of 46lb 2 oz. Roll on next year. Thanks to Simon and Mark who assisted at times and the photographs. Congratulations to mark on the 3 x 50s. He has a 50 in the arms for photos in water, when off rips the other rod . He was pulled out and then landed another 50. Absolutely breathtaking fishing and glad i was there to see it. Big thanks to Cliff for the drive down from north wales, dont know how you do it... we will be there next year again. Finally thanks to Spook and Scouse for all the advise and help and great food and humour. Cant wait to se the video on youtube Scouse with you being bombed off the old lake from all sides.
